Nantong Hongqiang Marine Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. is a private enterprise comprising of a steel 
structure factory, a steel pretreatment factory and an industrial & trade company. It lies in Qidong, 
Jiangsu province and near the mouth of the Yangtse River, to the north of the road connected with 
Shanghai city, Chongming Island and Qidong city. After the Chongqi Bridge to be opened to traffic, 
the company will be a part of the one hour economic circle around Shanghai city and play more
 important roll in the development of Qidong city.  
       The company was set up in December 2005. In the first stage of foundational construction on 
an area of 800,000m2 and a coast line of 1,120 meters, a slipway for building 30,000T vessels 
(180m*53.8m, with 160 ton crane), a workshop of 13,000 m2 and a primetreatment workshop
 have been built. During the second stage, the company will build an outfitting wharf for about 
400 meters, a largescale workshop of 20000m2 for blocks construction, two slipways of 50,000T
 (200m*80m, with 200 ton crane), two slipways of 80,000T (250m*120m, with 250 ton crane), 
a dock of 80,000T, as well as a painting workshop, a piping workshop, electrical workshop and 
a machinery workshop. We will also consummate production facilities of the shipyard.   
        The total investment will be RMB802,500,000.-, and the registered fund is RMB
50,000,000.Presently the shipyard is capable to build vessels under 50,000.00DWT and steel
 structures. The estimate output will be 250,000 300,000DWT vessels and 80,000 tons of steel
 structures per year. The output in 2008 will be valued RMB100,000,000. Now there are 500
 employees, 50 managers and 26 senior technicians in the company. The workers will be increa-sed to 1,500 in 2008. We respect talents and create an atmosphere of fairness and a wholeset- of highquality training system to help them with their development. We provide the staff, especially- the cooperators, a very agreeable environment with first class office, dormitory and dining room.

Present business:  
We have delivered two Dutch multi-purpose vessel in 2007;  
Two offshore vessels for Singapore owner are under construction;  
Two plus two bulk carrier for Norwegian owner has been ordered.  
Four plus four container vessels for Dutch owners have been ordered.
